On an average, a youngster snaps about more than 2,000 selfies a year. 16% of photos in their phones were found to be selfies.
In today's selfie-obsessed world, how many self-portraits do you think an average youngster snaps in one year? Well, a new study from Intel and Lineage Labs suggested that it could actually be more than 2,000 selfies a year. The research team interviewed 1,000 Americans over the age of 18 years about their photo-taking habits. Around 50% of the respondents admitted clicking at least one selfie every day.
The remaining subjects took a selfie a week, or a selfie every other day. Participants who counted themselves as regular users of their phone took at least six selfies a day.
The study found that on an average 18-24 year old's phone, 16% of photos are selfies.
