Miraculous Escape from the Jaws of Death Twice Causes Florida Man to Count His Blessings
Erik Norrie from Florida has turned twice lucky after surviving a lightning strike first and later a shark bite, while he was holidaying in the Bahamas.
Recovering at a hospital after the shark bite, Erik Norrie, is extremely grateful to God for his miraculous survival from the jaws of death.

On July 29th, Erik was attacked by a shark while he stood in about five feet of water on the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas; he went spear fishing to catch some for dinner. The shark bit his leg and took a piece away in its mouth. His family could see the water turn red around his legs.

Fortunately there was a doctor also on vacation who helped him ashore. He was flown to a Miami-area hospital and he underwent many multiple skin grafts. Experts are hopeful of his recovery.

Norrie is grateful to God and feels strongly that “something great would come from it. I gotta believe this is part of my journey.”
