Thus Doctor’s who has done a health scare over the MMR vaccinated children need to face a charge of professional misconduct for their act.A survey with British people revealed nearly 92% of children in the year 1995-96 and only 82% in the year 2002-03 were taken the vaccine under 2 years of age.
Regarding to a study conducted in Ireland, by NUI Galway last year the uptake of MMR vaccine in the State was gone well below the 95% level. This is the level needed to provide ‘absolute immunity’. But levels as low as 74% in some parts of the country were seen last year. Thus since 2000 a drop has been found in the popularity of mumps and measles jab.
When charges are put against a doctor, it should be under the course of their investigation. All over the world about 90 countries were vaccinated for MMR, where as in US it started during the 1970s.
A short study by Dr Wakefield only proved a link between autism and the triple jab, but other large studies were not showed any evidence.
Dr Richard Horton, editor of The Lancet argued that Dr Wakefield’s findings were full of conflicting things and it need not to be published.
