For all those still confused whether cooked food provides more energy than raw, this is some news which can help clear the air.
A recent finding has said that cooked food gives more energy than raw food especially in the case of meat.

During the study, researchers studied the diet of two groups of mice fed on raw meat and vegetables as well as cooked stuff. The finding revealed that the groups which were fed on cooked food derived more energy than the group which received raw food.

Researchers were able to discern the connection between cooked food and evolution of human brains and bodies as the change happened at a time when humans began to use fire to cook.

Cooked food has benefited human beings in many ways and is also behind the evolution of human beings from ape-like beings into what we are today.
