Following three polio vaccination programs this year in Indonesia WHO recommends two more mass vaccination programs next year
Mass Vaccination to children’s against polio virus is conducted in Indonesia in order to eradicate the Polio infection in Indonesia which has experienced about 290 polio cases in the last six months.
The Indonesian officials are planning the third round of vaccination program this month end and they have successfully conducted two mass polio vaccine programs which has provided vaccination to about 23.6 million children’s in Indonesia. The World Health Organization has also recommended the Indonesian officials to conduct more vaccination programs next year so that they could eradicate Polio virus infection from their country.Indonesian Health Minister Siti Supari Fadillah has said that in the final stage of vaccination program for this year more than 24 million youngsters would be vaccinated and this could lead to 100% polio vaccination to children’s in Indonesia and also agreed to WHO recommendations of two more Polio vaccination programs for next year.
