Mother Pays The Price For Shielding Her Daughter From Eve Teasing-With Life

In a horrifying incident, a 40-year-old woman was shot dead because she warned an eve-teaser not to misbehave with her teenaged daughter.

Parul had gone for her tuition classes, when neighbor Raju, 18, tried to grab her hand forcibly. According to officials, Parul pushed him and threatened to complain to her family.

Raju then asked her to go ahead and inform them. . Thirty minutes later, along with his friend Anil, Raju went over to Parul’s house, armed with country-made pistols.

Parul’s brother Ajay, 18, and her mother Shashi then warned the duo that they should never misbehave with Parul again.

At this point, Raju took out a pistol and shot at Ajay. Shashi came in between and was shot in the chest. Raju then shot Ajay in the stomach.

This ghastly incident took place on GT Road, in the Swarup Nagar area of Outer Delhi, on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Shashi was rushed to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital where she was declared brought dead. Ajay was later shifted to Bara Hindu Rao Hospital. “He has lost a lot of blood,” a senior officer was quoted.

The accused were arrested from the spot by a Police Control Room van stationed nearby. “We have registered a case and have
arrested the accused,” says DCP Sagar- preet Hooda.
