Mother Scoots With Son to Escape Latter’s Radiotherapy
Mother and her seven-year-old son were traced by the police, after she absconded with her son in a bid to escape cancer treatment. Sally Roberts, 37, is not for the radiotherapy treatment her son, Neon, needs to undergo for a brain tumor. To escape, she vanished with him from Tiverton, Devon. Police officers found them in Sussex. Mrs Roberts is currently fighting a battle in the court with the child’s father Ben Roberts, who like the Doctors also feels just like the doctors that Neon needs the treatment which could improve his survival chances. Mother is completely against him receiving treatment for cancer. "I have made an order permitting the identification of the child, Neon Luca Roberts, who is aged seven," said the judge. "It's thought that he is need of urgent life-saving hospital treatment. He suffers from a brain tumour and has recently had surgery and the doctors responsible for his treatment believe he urgently needs radiotherapy.”
