A motorised chair may be just the right solution for you if you feel too lazy to get up and fetch some beer from the fridge.

Kiwi inventor Ryan Ogle's "motorised drinking couch" with a motor of a 50cc scooter and a steering system sourced from a scrap metal yard can be very useful indoors "as long as your doorways are wide enough"."Bludy good fun and you never need worry about the long walk to get your next pie ever again," the Herald Sun quoted Ogle as telling Waikato Times newspaper.
Also, the green armchair can travel at a speed of 70km per hour if a "light person" is using it.
Ogle has placed his item on auction website Trade Me, and at present the top bid is NZ330 dollars with three days to run.
The sofa is emblazoned with "Ryan's seat of liver failure."
Ogle mentioned that it would suit "anyone who's after a good time".

He said: "Most people toot and wave, and the odd person yells and swears at you. The old people really don't like it."
