Music and laughter go a long way in coping with today’s stressful life. And that’s exactly what the Ludhianvis are doing.

The venue was the Lodhi Club in Ludhiana and the `music man’ on stage was Jasbir Jassi, the prince of Punjabi pop music, who enthralled everyone to help bring their stress down a notch.

"Music is relaxation or let’s says meditation for me. Dance is the best exercise, especially while you are stepping to the beats of bhangra. Talking of comedy, you may have found people doing laughing exercises. One can enjoy watching comedies," said Jasbir.

Ehsaan Qureshi, a comedian, who combines verses and asides peppered with his own observations, puts in a lot to tickle the funny bone.

"At present, the country is in the throes of materialism and people have forgotten how to laugh. In the race for money and crass commercialisation, laughing has been the causality. If people find no reason to laugh, then they are buying it to laugh," said Ehsaan.
