The 37-year-old British ramp queen underwent a surgery on 23rd Feb for removing a small cyst from her abdomen.According to Mirtes Bogea, a spokeswoman for the Sirio Libanes Hospital in Sao Paulo, Campbell recovered well after the surgery and was discharged on Feb 29.
"She recovered very well from her surgery. Doctors signed her release, and she left in the afternoon in a helicopter that someone sent to pick her up,” E! Online quoted Bogea, as saying.
Besides, gynaecologist Dr. Jose Aristodemo Pinotti confirmed that he operated on Campbell but he would not reveal any further details about her condition. He just told the Agencia Estado news service that the Naomi was "completely cured."
He said that he performed a laparoscopy, a relatively noninvasive procedure in which a small incision is made, usually through the navel, and a little tube fitted with a camera is inserted to examine a person's abdominal and pelvic organs.
"I cannot reveal what Naomi had, nor how serious her condition was, but I can say I operated on her, and she is completely cured," said Pinotti.

"Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her," said Campbell's publicist, Jeff Raymond, in a statement.
