U.S. firm Xan Confections, have introduced the dark chocolate CocoPMS truffles, which claim to ease the pain of pre-menstrual syndrome thanks to two anti-inflammatory compounds - chasteberry and bilberry, reports the Daily Mail.

As well as helping to reduce stomach cramps and headaches, the ingredients give the chocolates a berry flavour.

The CocoPMS chocolates, are part of a 'healthy chocolate' range that includes CocoHeart, which claims to help maintain a healthy heart, and CocoPreggers, infused with folic acid to benefit mothers-to-be.
