New Line of Sex Toys to be Powered by Electric Toothbrush Technology

High-speed technology used in popular electric toothbrush is being used by a Seattle-based start-up company to develop first-of-its kind high-performance vibrators and other sex devices. Revel Body, has taken its lead from the revered Philips Sonicare toothbrush for its first line of sonic-motored sex toys, the Daily Mail reported.

The young firm's prototype, The Orb, promises to boost the performance of sex toys, bidding farewell to the relatively sluggish and noisy rotary-motors that still power most adult toys today.Our sonic vibration motors provide a significantly broader range of vibration and significantly more power; this translates into better control and satisfaction for users," the company said.

Apart from providing a more vigorous vibration, the new technology assures to decrease noise by 66 per cent, tackling consumer complaints that the loud humming of current models is distracting.

Revel Body engineers are also working towards creating an adjustable speed feature that will make the devices user-friendlier by offering more control over vibration power.
