Kidman said that she lost her first child because of an ectopic pregnancy, not because of miscarriage.
Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has denied that she had miscarried her first baby with actor Tom Cruise, insisting that her original remarks were misinterpreted and played down the pain she suffered during two pregnancies.
The Oscar winning actress had earlier revealed that she tragically lost two babies during her marriage to Cruise. She also said that she suffered a miscarriage at 23, which led to the couple's decision to adopt a girl, Isabella, and a boy, Connor.
However, in a new interview with Marie Claire magazine, Kidman said that she lost her first child because of an ectopic pregnancy - a condition in which an embryo starts to develop in a fallopian tube instead of in the womb.
βIt was wrongly reported. It didn't happen. I had a miscarriage at the end of my marriage - but I had an ectopic pregnancy at the beginning of my marriage. It was incredibly traumatic for me,β the Daily Mail quoted her, as telling the mag.
The Aussie beauty also admitted that from the time she married Cruise "I wanted to have babies".
Of her present married life, the actress said that she hopes to have a baby with her new husband, country musician Keith Urban, but added: "What will be will be. It's in God's hands.β
