Liz Coveney, a 50-year old woman, with a keen interest in finance, was having serious trouble with her knee.
The pain grew unbearable and after battling it for six years, she found reprieve in a recent surgery.

Doctors used healthy cartilage from her knee and allowed new cells to grow. In a ground breaking surgery at Spire Southampton Hospital, the regrown cells on the healthy cartilage was sewn back into the damaged cartilage in her knee.

Though the surgery cost £18,000, it has surely renewed her energy as she is free from pain after six years.
