Non-Invasive Measurement of Blood Pressure With Ultrasound
Investigators at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) have devised a non-invasive way of evaluating localized blood pressure within the vascular system.
This method uses ultrasound to correctly measure blood flow and movement of vessel walls.

Using this device, researchers were able to witness the variations in blood pressure and flow in time and have a detailed picture of the working of the vascular system.

The new technique will assist physicians in enabling preventive investigations of the cardiovascular system.
