Scientists have developed a smart cup that can count the calories of the drink poured in. The Vessyl "smart cup" could detect the molecular makeup of a drink with the help of the small sensors fitted in and track the amount of sugar, caffeine, protein or fat, CBS News reported.
The cup could also send the nutritional drink data to a smartphone to help users keep track of their consumption.
The cup took seven years to develop, and would be available for sale in 2015.
