OBP Medical Launches All-in-One Disposable Surgical Retractors, CLEAR-TRAC

CLEAR-TRAC is a cost-effective disposable device that delivers illumination and enhances functionality during clinical procedures for physicians and surgeons.

OBP Medical launched the CLEAR-TRAC, the first line of disposable surgical retractors that have a built-in light source to illuminate deep into the surgical area.

The CLEAR-TRAC family of retractors includes: CLEAR-TRAC SP, a single-use surgical pocket retractor, CLEAR-TRAC V, a single-use vaginal retractor for vaginal and gynecological procedures and CLEAR-TRAC B, a single-use breast retractor ideal for breast augmentation, reconstruction, and mastectomy. The device has attached LED lights that stay cool to the touch and don’t affect the working space.

The devices are sterile and ready to use. The power button activates light and after use, the entire device can be discarded.

Historically, retractors providing illumination of the operative area were made from reusable stainless steel and required complicated pre-procedure set up and reprocessing after use.
