One Egg a Day is Fine, Says Dietary Guidelines
Eggs have been tossed around quite a bit. Eggs were always known to elevate cholesterol levels. A recent insight by the US department of agriculture has pointed out that eggs in the present day contain much less cholesterol than the eggs which were available ten years ago.
Presently, eggs have become healthier with 14% less cholesterol and 64% more vitamin D. This is because of nutritional improvements to animal feeds and better breeding practices.

According to research conducted on healthy people, one egg a day does not increase risk of cardiovascular disease in healthy people. Therefore, consumption of one egg a day is certainly a healthy option.
