One Embryo Better Than Two in IVF, Says Study
New research indicates that infertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment are more likely to have a baby if they have only one embryo implanted at a time during the procedure.
A team at Aberdeen University also suggested that having two rounds of IVF treatment using one embryo each time is better than having two implanted in one go, due to the higher risk of suffering a miscarriage, reports the Daily Express.

The study showed that when women had a fresh embryo implanted and, in a later attempt, had a frozen one implanted, they ended up with more children.

The study is published in the British Medical Journal.
