'The IGMC hospital has built a new unit equipped with the latest equipment including light monitoring system, life support system, auto intensive care light, automatic operation bed and latest x-ray machines for offering this facility,' said Dr Haryal Chauhan, senior medical superintendent, IGMC.

The new unit will be launched Saturday by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. Officials say the facility will be one of the cheapest in northern India.
