Over 3,000 Dengue Cases Suspected In Pakistan

Over 3,000 people with symptoms similar to the mosquito-borne dengue fever are admitted in different hospitals of Pakistan, the health ministry said Monday

Over 3,000 people with symptoms similar to the mosquito-borne dengue fever are admitted in different hospitals of Pakistan, the health ministry said Monday.

The number of patients with dengue-like symptoms stood at 3,230 Monday evening whereas 1,113 people have been declared positive for the virus across the country.

So far 33 people have died due to the disease in Pakistan - 32 in Sindh province alone. The other deaths have occurred in the North West Frontier Province.
