Oxxy Offers Free Pick Up, Drop for Patients in Visakhapatnam

Patients in Visakhapatnam can now call 09999000102 and get free pick and drop or a free eye checkup test.

Leading healthcare network Oxxy has announced that it will launch free pick and drop for patients in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Under its Swastha Bharat platform, the company will also be offering free eye checkup at home or its center. The company said in a statement, "Anyone can call 09999000102 and get the ride or test done for free."

Oxxy has already started the free eye checkup initiative in more than 200 cities in the country. Valued at $2 billion, it has so far screened 12 million people under the Swastha Bharat in last three months.

Oxxy founder Pankaj Gupta said, "Transparency in healthcare is the need of the hour and thus Oxxy is working dedicatedly towards its mission to provide e-Healthcare for all."

Co-founder Sheetal Kapoor said, "We were focusing on optimizing healthcare infrastructure throughout the country."

Previously, Oxxy with its alliance with Uber provided free health checkups to all its riders. It already screened more than 2.5 lakh passengers.
