Cancer-stricken Patrick Swayze has reportedly stopped all medical treatment after doctors told him there was very little they could do to stop the growth of his illness.

The 'Ghost' star was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 12 months ago.

He recently checked himself into a hospital after coming down with pneumonia. He was released on January 16 after a week of treatment, reports Insider.com

According to the National Enquirer, Swayze was now growing increasingly weak.

"There's nothing more doctors can do for him," a family friend told the magazine.

"We are down to the wire and the goal now is to keep Patrick comfortable.

"His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. He's still losing weight and he's very weak," the pal said.

"Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets," the friend added.
