Imagine an evening of dining on scrumptious food, and then, instead of the waiter handing you a bill, you can pay what you like. It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?
Now, Caversham-based Mya Lacarte is launching two new evenings where diners will have the opportunity to name their own prices when the bill arrives and pay what they believe their meal was worth, reports the Daily Star.
Diners can ever choose to pay only 1p for their meal if they so desire.
The restaurant normally charges about 10 pounds for a main dish and 18 pounds for three courses.
Owner Matt Siadatan admits some customers could take advantage at the eaterie in Reading, Berks, but said: "It's hopefully not about a super-cheap night out. I want to understand how my guests perceive Mya Lacarte."
