Peers are a Big Influence for Juvenile Cyber Crime
A study that delved into the subject of peer influence on juvenile cybercrimes such as hacking and online bullying, found that adolescent children are more likely to commit such crimes if their peers did.
The study which analyzed the behavior of 435 middle- and high-school students showed that the risk of indulging in unhealthy online activities rose with the influence of the peer group.

Children with diminished self-control are the ones at high risk as they may not be able to resist indulging in cybercrimes given an opportunity to do so. Cybercrimes involved hacking, online pornography, sending messages with sexual overtones, downloading music and videos without paying for them.
