The campaign to promote mammograms by a Polish hospital to diagnose breast cancer has fallen flat following criticism that the campaign is sexist and encourages molestation.

The campaign to promote mammograms by a Polish hospital to diagnose breast cancer has fallen flat following criticism that the campaign is sexist and encourages molestation.

In the past few months, the Opole cancer hospital mailed letters to employers in south-western Poland asking them to encourage women workers to get themselves checked for breast cancer.

The campaign slogan in the letters read, "I check the breasts of my employees myself," reports the Telegraph.

Joanna Piotrowska, of the feminist Feminoteka group, criticised the slogan saying it was sexist, and encouraged molestation and the treatment of employees like property.

However, Krystyna Raczynska, who managed the hospital's campaign, said the letter was not intended to offend anyone's sensibilities. (ANI)
