Those who are unwell must stay home and rest rather than getting to work as ‘presenteeism’ can make things worse.
A New Zealand sociologist Professor has discussed facts about "presenteeism", a period when people show up to work when they are sick.

According to the professor, such people could become victims of depression, tiredness, migraine and even heart problems.

People in the nursing and teaching profession are more prone to ‘presenteeism’ as they often feel their services are indispensible and absenteeism may inconvenience the ones dependant on them.
