Prohealth –launched by Cigna TTK Health Insurance

A new plan by TTK and Cigna Corporation to cover features like maternity, minor illness which was not covered so far.

Cigna Corporation, a US based global health service and the Indian company TTK group announced the launch of a health insurance product “Prohealth” which has a critical care option.
"One of the significant features of this product is that it offers world-wide emergency health cover to the policy holder. Through this facility, a customer is covered for health emergencies anywhere across the world," the company said.

"We strongly believe that different consumers have different requirements, hence we have developed ProHealth to be flexible to consumer's unique needs," said Sandeep Patel, CEO and managing director, Cigna TTK Health Insurance Company. The product has four variants and multiple customization options to cater to all consumer segments. 

Firstly Prohealth offers maintenance benefits through Cigna TTK health care that will cover cost of diagnostic tests, drugs, and doctors fees for minor ailments.

Customers can earn reward points in the healthy reward program which is an online wellness program.

This plan also has a smart restoration feature which restores the entire sum insured – when the balance is insufficient within the same year. Under Prohealth customers can opt for anywhere between Rs. 2.5 lakh to 1 crore as the sum assured.

There are 4 plan options under Prohealth to suit different customer requirements. Prohealth Protect, Prohealth Plus, Prohealth Preferred and Pro health Premier. In Pro health Protect, Plus and Preferred customers can opt for an add-on critical illness cover.

Under this plan the insured can avail maternity and new born baby cover.

Tax benefits are offered along with pre and post hospitalization, ambulance expenses and donor expenses.

The Pro health Plus plan provides unlimited insurance cover in addition to a global cover up to 10 lakhs.
