The Times Good University Guide 2009 has rated Queen's University Belfast as the best institution in the UK for studying dentistry.

Results from the National Student Survey were also taken into consideration this year before allotting the rating and it has emerged that Queen's has a 100% rating. Additionally it has the best student satisfaction rating of 87%."The Times Good University Guide is widely acknowledged as being the definitive guide for students, parents, business and academia. This top ranking position recognizes the dedication and commitment of the staff in Queen's Dental School," said Professor Donald Burden, Head of Dentistry.
"It also highlights the high standards achieved by our dental students. Most of our graduates will go on to work as general dental practitioners or dental specialists providing dental care for the people of Northern Ireland," he added.
