During the cabinet meeting, it was decided to launch the Arogya Rajasthan Abhiyan (campaign for healthy Rajasthan) from December this year to March 2016.
The Rajasthan government has decided to issue health cards to five crore people in the state. This decision was taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore said, "During the cabinet meeting, we decided to launch the Arogya Rajasthan Abhiyan (campaign for healthy Rajasthan) from December this year to March 2016. 48,000 health workers would collect health-related information of about five crore people by visiting about one crore households from September 15 to October 31. An online database of this information would be prepared, which would be utilized for the innovative health insurance scheme to be launched in the state."
However, the minister did not give details on the health insurance scheme.
