Record for Most People Dressed as Batman Set by Canadians

A Guinness World Record for most people masquerading as Batman was set by over 500 people in Canada.

The 542 staff members of Nexen, an oil and gas company, gathered outside their headquarters in Calgary, Canada, in the costume and crushed the previous of 250, the Daily Star reported.

Hollywood Style Celebration of Batman's 75th Birthday
A series of comic-book, video-game and other events are among the celebrations of Batman's 75th birthday, putting Gotham's famed Caped Crusader firmly back in the spotlight.

The event, which was also a fundraiser for the United Way of Canada, saw a few attendees dressed as Batman villains, including Catwoman, the Joker and the Riddler.

United Way is made up of 117 smaller volunteer groups that organise themed campaigns to raise money for local communities, with the theme for this event being From Suits to Superheroes.
