Repeated Questions About a Mole by 4 Year Old Saves Mum from Melanoma
Each time four year old Ianto cuddled his mom, he found a mole on her neck which intrigued him. He kept asking her why the mole got bigger and changed shape.
At the insistence of her family, Jane, 37, from South Wales, consulted a skin specialist who diagnosed it as malignant melanoma, the deadliest of skin cancers.

After a surgery to remove the mole, she got a clean chit from the doctors, since she was lucky the cancer was detected early.

Jane  said: "Ianto is a very special boy and helped me catch my skin cancer early. It began with a small mole on my neck, almost like a freckle, but when I was pregnant it seemed to get bigger. If my son hadn't kept pointing to the freckle I don't think I would have done anything about it."
