Research on HIV Will be Conducted at Civil Hospital in Surat

The Civil Hospital in Surat has signed a three year MoU with American University of South Florida for carrying out research and experiments on HIV and AIDS. Researchers will study the disease pattern and its implications on the human body and will provide a solution for those who suffer from multiple health problems. Besides this the MoU will help patients with HIV and AIDS to get advanced treatment. Superintendent of the New Civil Hospital, M.K.Wadhel said, "University of South Florida has a good team of researchers and scientists working on HIV and AIDS. They have gained ample amount of knowledge during research and want to share the same with us by treating our patients. Their guidance will help us in providing quality treatment to our patients."

Wadhel added that the team from the Florida University will also guide doctors at the Civil hospital in handling HIV patients. About 3,500 patients are being treated at the New Civil Hospital. Taking into consideration the increasing number of patients, it is mandatory to deliver good and effective treatment to the patients.
