A robot that can help diagnose swine flu has been unveiled at the Security & Safety Trade Expo (RISCON) in Tokyo. The human-like machine can display swine flu symptoms and sweats, moans, cries and convulses just like someone affected with H1N1 would do.
The robot, which also has a human-like skin, will stop breathing if proper treatment is not given. It is one of the many exhibits being displayed in Japan and aims to prevent or aid treatment of swine flu.As per available statistics from the World Health Organisation (WHO), swine flu has so far claimed 4,735 lives worldwide.
