The appeal came at an event ’Bowl Out Polio’ at during a Ranji Trophy match between Uttar Pradesh and Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Cricket Stadium here .
"We cannot lose the match against polio. We need to win, to give a life free of polio paralysis to our children. This is possible if we ensure that our children get polio vaccine in each polio campaign," Raina said.
Around 78 million children are likely to be immunised with polio vaccine during the campaign in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan Nov 4.
