Size Does Matter for Women Who Favor One-Night Stands

A new study conducted by researchers at University of California, Los Angeles reveals that while size does matter when it comes to women during one-night stands, it is the girth rather than the length that is more important. The study was led by Shannon Leung who recruited around 41 women and handed them 33 blue 3D-printed penises of different sizes. The participants were asked to choose which of them they would have selected for one-night stands and which they preferred for long term relationships.

The researchers found that women preferred penises that had larger than average girth when it came to one-night stands while there was not much difference in the length of the penises that were chosen for either one-night stands or long-term relationships; though an average length of 10cms was popular.

“Women's sexual selection may help explain why human penises are unusually thick compared to other primates. They preferred larger-girth (but not longer-length) models for one-time partners than for longer-term partners”, the researchers wrote in their report.
