For those who lack the most basic culinary skills, or are simply too lazy to boil an egg, you have your prayers answered, for ready-to-eat free-range eggs are just around the corner.

If you are too lazy to boil an egg, or simply don't know how, your prayers have been answered, for ready-to-eat free-range eggs are just around the corner.

The Happy Egg Company has struck deals with supermarkets, and is offering eggs "cooked to perfection" in packs of two or four.

The shell is also removed for those who have trouble peeling an egg.

"Happy Boiled Eggs are the perfect solution for people who love free range eggs but don't have the time or knack to prepare a boiled egg," the Telegraph quoted Rob Newell, marketing chief at the firm, as saying.

"As the summer months approach, we are confident they will be a real hit for picnics and offer fresh inspiration to those wanting a tasty and nutritious snack in minutes," he added.

For those still looking to pick a few pointers on learning the art, tips from TV chef Delia Smith have been included in one of her best-selling recipe books.
