Stripper Charged With Raping Best Man With a Sex Toy in Australia

A female stripper hired to entertain a bachelors’ party before a wedding has been ordered to stand trial on charge of raping the best man with a sex toy.

Linda Naggs, 39, is accused of sexually penetrating the man with a sex toy at the party on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula in September last year.

Naggs entered the party cracking a whip and performed an act for the groom before moving on to the best man, a witness, who cannot be named, told Melbourne Magistrates Court Monday.

He said the complainant was partly naked and on the ground when Naggs allegedly assaulted him with the sex toy.

The best man became angry, got up and insisted Naggs had sexually penetrated him with a vibrator.

Witnesses said they stood between the pair as they became involved in a heated argument.

"I actually thought at one stage they were going to come to blows," they said.

Naggs' female minder, Cheryl Buckley, told the court the pair had been offered cocaine and speedballs by guests who were loud, aggressive and appeared to be "off their heads" on drugs.

She said up to 10 men had followed her and Naggs to an upstairs bedroom where the best man had punched Naggs in the back of head and waved a piece of toilet paper soiled with a speck of blood.

Buckley said she had driven to Frankston Hospital with Naggs who was bleeding from a cut to her head but the hospital had been too crowded to wait.

The cousin of the best man said he had taken Naggs upstairs to help her get her things and leave and that she had denied penetrating the best man.

"I think she was confused, a bit nervous, a bit angry as well," he said.

The witness said the best man was demanding his money back and had thrown the blooded toilet paper at Naggs.

Ms Buckley said an exotic dancer who performed at the buck's party before Naggs had warned them "to be careful" because the men were "nasty arrogant pigs".

The first stripper later told police the men had called her a bitch and suggested a "gang-bang" and that there had been "lots of drugs everywhere".

Ms Buckley said she had seen Naggs perform the same sex-show routine more than thirty times.

She said the only difference on the night of the alleged rape was that the best man had thrust backwards while Naggs was behind him wearing the sex-toy.

The groom's brother said following the act the best man said he had felt violated and she had "put it inside".

"I thought he was joking to be honest," the witness said.

He said he asked the best man if he was over-reacting but he was "adamant there was a problem".

Guests who gave evidence during the two-day hearing denied there had been drugs at the party.

Geoffrey Steward, for Naggs, said the best man had alleged the rape took place for "about one second" in the "most unusual circumstances".

He said the buck's party guests had made "unreliable, self serving or untruthful" witnesses.

"No jury could convict this woman," he said.

But prosecutor Bill Stougiannos said there was strong evidence of sexual penetration and asked magistrate Elizabeth Lambden not to be influenced by the the "unique" circumstances of the case.

Lambden said while there had been inconsistencies in the accounts given by party guests, there was enough evidence to support a conviction.

Naggs was ordered to stand trial in the County Court in July.
