Kids bawling at the top of the lungs are the car passengers most likely to cause an accident, a new survey reveals.
The survey, to find the reason why most people crash, found that 8 percent blamed screaming kids for meeting with an accident. They were followed by fighting kids, backseat drivers and barking or over-excited dogs, reveals the study by the Norwich Union.
The poll also had a quarter of drivers confessing that they had lost control of their vehicle because they had been distracted by a passenger.
Spokesman Nigel Bartram advised distracted drivers to pull over and only start driving when the situation was under control if they wanted to reach their destination safe and sound.
“Find a safe spot and pull over until the situation’s under control,” the paper quoted him, as saying.
