The Wellness Centre will cater for health workers and their families who may contract the disease while treating AIDS sufferers, said the head of the Swaziland Nurses Association (SNA), Thabsile Dlamini."The centre provides a holistic complement of services for all health workers and their immediate families," Dlamini told the Swazi Observer newspaper.
Swaziland has one of the highest HIV infection rates in the sub-Saharan region.
The centre will provide voluntary counselling and testing, treatment of tuberculosis, Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART), post-exposure prophylaxis and a resource centre.
