American pop singer Taylor Swift has been named as the most charitable star of 2013 by a not-for-profit website after having donated over $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony on her 24th birthday.

The 'You Belong With Me' hitmaker also headlined at the Winter Whites gala in London, which benefited a charity that helps homeless youth, CBS News reported.

One Direction took the second place on the '20 Celebs Gone Good' list, as the pop band kicked off the year by volunteering in Ghana with the U.K. charity Comic Relief, while Harry Styles and Liam Payne, also raised more than 800,000 dollars through the fundraising platform Prizeo for Trekstock.

Beyonce secured the third position, while late actor Paul Walker came in fourth followed by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
