Zamzee is a new device which aims to give an impetus to the health of children, by motivating them to remain physically active and share their progress with friends in online social networking sites. This device by Hopelab has used technology combined with the universal appeal of rewards to motivate teens to stay physically active.
This device contains a physical activity sensor which can be worn on the hip. This also functions as a USB memory stick. When one exercises, the device gives physical activity points which can be loaded on the Zamzee web portal.
Teens can access their rewards depending upon the points collected and can avail gifts. Further, it is also possible for users to share their physical activity milestones and achievements on social networking sites.
