TELEMEDICON 2020: 16th International Conference of the Telemedicine Society of India
TELEMEDICON 2020, the 16th International Annual Conference of ‘Telemedicine Society of India’ (TSI) will be held from 18th December to 20th December 2020. TSI will be hosting the conference virtually.
This is the first international-level Tele-Health conference after the notification of ‘Telemedicine Practice Guidelines’ by the Govt. of India.

The COVID-19 pandemic has allowed the virtual health tech ecosystem to get established in a brief period. The experience of the past nine months has been invaluable.

As the year closes, let's reflect and summarize all our learnings and look towards the future to make Tele-health platforms universally accessible and affordable.

The theme of the upcoming conference is ‘Telehealth – From the Fringes to the Mainstream.' The discussions will focus on the growth and impact of telehealth in India and the necessary discussions around data privacy and patient’s safety.

Telehealth In India

Telehealth in India has grown exponentially in a short time after the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines by the Govt. of India.

Telehealth has the potential to adequately address the issue of the wellness concept as envisaged under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme and Universal Health Coverage.

Telehealth proposes exploring the opportunities that lie in deploying eHealth technology in India with a holistic approach to the concept of wellness.

This vision has come to be realized these days, owing to the efforts and the erudition of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

TELEMEDICON 2020 will connect healthcare professionals, policymakers, industrialists, health insurance providers, online pharmacy chains, students, and various stakeholders from the field of Telemedicine and Health Informatics, over one common platform.

This virtual event will provide an opportunity to learn, deliberate, network, and plan the future in this rapidly evolving health tech space.
