In a mysterious case, a two-year-old Brazilian boy, Kelvin Santos, who was pronounced dead after he had stopped breathing at a hospital in Belem, sat up in his coffin just an hour before the funeral, and asked for water.

The dead boy was brought home from the hospital and laid in an open-casket overnight. Just an hour before the funeral next day, the boy reportedly sat up in his coffin and said 'Daddy, can I have some water?'

Antonio rushed the boy to the hospital and he was pronounced dead again for the second time.

'Fifteen minutes after rushing him away for resuscitation, they came and told me he was dead and handed me his body. Perhaps they didn't examine him properly. Dead people don't just wake up and talk. I'm determined to find out the truth' he said.
