Traffic noise increases the risk of high blood pressure in men, a new study has shown. However, when it comes to women, they remain unaffected by it.
Men's blood pressure, a new study says, soars with traffic noise.
However, when it comes to women, they remain unaffected by it.To reach the conclusion, researchers studied 2,747 adults, reports The Daily Express.
From analyses, they found even fairly low noise levels, not just heavy city traffic, had a damaging impact on men.
Heavy traffic produces sound levels of around 80 decibels. But scientists at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, found anything greater than 55 decibels was a danger.
