Two Thirds of Britons Carry Ex-lovers’ Numbers on Mobiles

Two thirds of them keep the numbers of their exes on their mobile phones ‘just in case’.

It looks like Britons really find it hard to get over their former lovers, for a survey has revealed that nearly two thirds of them keep the numbers of their exes on their mobile phones ‘just in case’.

The survey has found that some people kept a former lover's number because they wanted to have it to hand, however unlikely or inappropriate it might be to ring it.

According to the report by the Orange phone company, which conducted the survey, some people kept numbers as if compiling a "little black book" that they could show to friends to boast of conquests.

Another survey carried out by the removal firm Any Junk, has found that 6 in 10 people hoard mementoes from past relationships because they could not afford to wash them out completely.

"It is incredible to think so many people are keeping these mementoes from past relationships hidden in their homes,” the Telegraph quoted Any Junk's Jason Mohr, as saying.

"It is amazing to think of the value of space wasted in people's houses under these piles of junk,” Mohr added.
