Kiev-based Segodnya newspaper revealed that six students in Ukraine have developed a robot that can make your bed. The students are from the Dnepropetrovsk National University in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine's fourth largest city with about a million inhabitants.
The robot can change bedclothes and remove stains from bed sheets, project manager Anastasia Rudenko was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
The invention won a competition at the Student Research Conference Business Week-2012 in Paris.
"This is a real project, not fiction," Rudenko said.
The robot could go into mass production soon at the price of $200-800 depending on its characteristics.
Once the robot is put to use, it will help people maintain order at home and save time for sleep in the morning, she said.
