Julia and Kevin Walden have been diagnosed with the same deadly cancer in a rare occurrence.

"There was more chance of us winning the lottery than having this happen to us," said Kevin. "None of us knows how long we are going to be here. It is just unbelievable that both of us should be so ill at the same time. It is bizarre."

Kevin has been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine cancer while Julia has been diagnosed with a tumor around the main arteries to her brain

The couple has a three-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, while Kevin has three children from a former relationship and Julia has two children from a previous relationship. The couple is due to start radiotherapy this week.
