an open letter in the Scotsman newspaper saying that there would be more unnecessary deaths” over the rumors that MMR Vaccine was linked to autism.
Around 28 UK pediatricians and vaccination experts have written an open letter in the Scotsman newspaper saying that there would be 'more unnecessary deaths' over the rumors that MMR Vaccine was linked to autism.
The letter adds that if immediate action were not taken, the UK could face a serious situation with outbreaks of measles, mumps and rubella. The letter also says that questions of "any association between MMR and autism" should be effectively dealt with urgently."Years of low uptake mean large numbers of unprotected children are now entering school. Unless this is rectified urgently, and children are immunized, there will be further outbreaks and we will see more unnecessary deaths", the letter continues.
"It is not too late to avert this predictable tragedy. It is time that due weight is given to the overwhelming body of scientific evidence in favour of the vaccine."
