US Doctors Association Gives away $110,000 To NGO’s

The Association of Tamilnadu Medical Graduates (ATMG) of the US has given $110,000 in aid to five NGOs for social causes in Tamil Nadu.

The ATMG-run Charitable Foundation collected the money from about 5,000 doctor members in the US.

The Voluntary Health Services received $50,000 to be spent on tsunami relief. The other NGOs are the YWCA, Mary Clubwala Girls High School, the Kumarasamy Health Centre in Kanyakumari and Serve The Helpless.
